What I didn’t know initially is that it’s actu What I didn’t know initially is that it’s actually the birthday bear itself that is $1 (not including the clothes and accessories). But I couldn’t have no naked bear, I dressed it up to be cute 💕💜. So basically the bear itself will cost the age of the child, $1. My total came to about $45ish with the clothes and accessories. The deal only applies to the birthday bear, not other animals. It was worth it for the memories plus she’s been obsessed with stuffed animals lately, so a custom bear was perfect. No age or birthday proof needed. The experience was great, and the staff was helpful. @buildabear Did you have a Build-A-Bear as a kid? I always wanted one. Mikayla’s first birthday was everything I imagin Mikayla’s first birthday was everything I imagined and more. From the good food to her first saxophone serenade, it all turned out perfectly. We’re so grateful for the beautiful village we’ve built around us who’ve supported us along the way. Our family, friends, and community, on and off the phone screen, y’all show up every time. I used a combination of things that I got catered I used a combination of things that I got catered and things that I made because I didn’t have all the time to make everything from scratch. But it was nice to be able to just go pick up the items and arrange them on platters and set it all up. I made sure everything was kid friendly and I also had some adult only things too. Everybody was happy with everything and I was too! Our Berrylicious Strawberry🍓 just had her ‘Be Our Berrylicious Strawberry🍓 just had her ‘Berry First Birthday’! 🎂 We spent this weekend celebrating her with our friends and family.
